Social confidence is different from other forms of confidence.
You can be confident at playing football, but that does not translate into speaking well in public, making friends, or approaching someone you are interested in.
In fact, if you hear someone give advice on confidence as a whole, run the other direction. Because your confidence is different for different skills because confidence is generally based on your level of skill. There is no one size fits all solution.
